Use of the AGIS GmbH website

The use of our website is anonymous and possible without providing personal data.
Every access to our website is logged. As a rule, the log files automatically recorded by the web server cannot be assigned to a specific person. AGIS GmbH does not intend to do this either. This data is only used for the purpose of internal, statistical evaluations. There is no other evaluation of the data. No surf profiles or the like are created or processed. The browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address of the requesting computer, access date and time of the server request, file request from the client (file name and URL), transferred data volume and messages for successful access are recorded. A transfer of data to third parties does not take place.

SSL encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as registrations for our training courses, seminars and events. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http: //" to "https: //" and by the "lock" symbol in your browser line.
If SSL encryption is activated, data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Collection, processing, use and transfer of personal data

Personal data is only collected if you provide this information voluntarily, for example in the context of an order or assignment (software or service), registration for a training course or seminar (GeoAS, geodata manager, ...), an inquiry (support, software or services), for registration or to make an appointment for an event (customer conference, trade fair, ...) or to register for a newsletter.

If you provide us with personal data (usually pure contact details such as the name of the organization you work for, first name, last name, address, telephone / fax and e-mail), we primarily use this to correspond with you (e.g. answering Your inquiries, invoicing) or to process contracts concluded with you or for the purpose for which you have provided us with the data (Art. 6 Para. 1 b GDPR).

In addition, we will use this data for occasional information letters (e-mail newsletter, postal letter) to you to inform you about new products, services and other services or events that may interest you. You can object to this use of your data by us at any time (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR).

We do not pass on personal data to third parties without your express and revocable consent. Your personal data will only be transmitted to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing (e.g. passing on order data to suppliers), for billing purposes or due to legal regulations or if you have given your express prior consent. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time (ideally in writing by email or fax).

The data you provide will not be passed on to third parties for commercial (e.g. advertising and market research) or non-commercial purposes.

Right to information and right of withdrawal

On request, we will inform you free of charge of the data stored at AGIS GmbH about your person or organization. You can have your data collected from us corrected, deleted or blocked at any time. You can revoke your consent to data collection and use at any time.

The stored personal data will be deleted if you revoke your consent to the storage, if your knowledge is no longer required to fulfill the purpose of the storage or if its storage becomes inadmissible for other legal reasons.

Data for billing and accounting purposes are not affected by revocation or deletion. Insofar as commercial and tax retention periods must be observed, the storage period for certain data can be up to 10 years (Section 257 HGB).

Update of this data protection declaration

As far as we introduce new products or services, change internet procedures or if the internet and EDP security technology develops further, the data protection declaration has to be updated. We therefore reserve the right to change or amend the declaration as required. The change will be published here. You should therefore visit this website regularly to find out about the current status of the data protection declaration.
