This function creates point objects in the editable layer within a defined distance and right angled to a base line (red line).

The orthogonal and segment (in line direction) distances have to be entered. The Excecute button creates a new point object (blue points).

These point objects can be very helpful for digitizing further objects as regions or lines by means of the snapping mode.
