Particularly MapCAD cells are an excellent opportunity to create symbols and one's own pattern or hatches. These cells are vector symbols managed in a library.

Spaced symbols are suitable for areas, lines and polylines. Incomplete cells can be suppressed (whole cells only).

Long cells overshooting the cell height at the corners can be cut off (cut overshoots).

If the single segment length of the reference object is shorter than the cell width, the cell distance can be interpolated across nodes. This leads to a more attractive presentation.
