This function is comparable to MapInfo's "Create Points" standard function. The difference is the extension to all object types. Thus a cell object may be a line, polyline or an area as well. Two coordinate columns are required in the data base, all other details are optional.

If a column is selected holding a Cell Number, the corresponding cell out of the cell library will be set.

If the database contains columns for angles, rotation and anchor points, the output can become even more professional. Thus oriented symbols (cells) can be created with database values as well.

Indicating a factor column assigns a scale factor to the created cell. Depending on its value cells will be displayed in different sizes without using different cells.
